I think the odds of being killed/murdered by American Law enforcement has gone way up compared to international terrorists.

It's a battlefield out their and the targets are the American people and guess who's gonna pay for this?

An aspiring TV producer was mistakenly killed by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. officers on Monday night in West Hollywood.

Deputies mistook John Winkler (http://variety.com/t/john-winkler/) for a stabbing suspect at a Palm Avenue apartment complex.

Winkler, who had reportedly left his apartment to help neighbors taken hostage by an unidentified man, was shot and killed. Three deputies fired at Winkler when he rushed out of the apartment with one of two other victims, sheriff’s officials said in a statement. He was shot once and died.

“The apartment door suddenly opened and a male victim came rushing out,” the statement said. “He was covered in blood and bleeding profusely from the neck. Simultaneously, victim Winkler ran out of the door, lunging at the back of the fleeing victim. Both ran directly at the deputies.”

The 30-year-old was just hired by Comedy Central as a production assistant on “Tosh.0 (http://variety.com/t/tosh-0/).” Winkler moved to L.A. six months ago from Washington to pursue a career in entertainment.

No knife? No gun? No nothing? They truly are getting away with murder these days.

Nothing will come of this. They "feared" for the victim & their own "safety." Even if a video contradicts them. Their word has more integrity than video.

These assclowns also hit the person they thought was the victim........

The latest statement conflicts with the sheriff's department's earlier statement about the incident, which claimed that the other man was not hit. The LASD has not said why it took so long to figure out that its deputies shot two people instead of one. Another deputy told CBS LA that Winkler and the other man "aggressed the deputies."

Someone is mistaking egressing a dangerous situation for aggressing the deputies.

I was wondering how they could hit Winkler when he was supposedly behind the stabbing victim and "lunging" for his back with both headed towards the deputies without the stabbing victim getting shot.

Note to self: If stabbed, do not call the cops. Don't compound a stab wound with a gunshot.

The cop haters' complaints are invalid unless they too have been in a circle jerk inside the police station changing room and were forced to eat the creamy bread. They don't know how hard the job is.

News articles are calling it accidental killing.

If it was anyone but police it would be Murder.

The word Murder is absent from all the "News" reports.

I am surprised they are calling accidental. $20 says that it will be deemed justified.

Absolutely. So headlines for Fort Hood should be "Accidental Killing at Fort Hood due to pharmaceutical drugs."

Well it was not accidental. It was a stupid mistake perhaps,, but it was quite deliberate.

The drew their guns,, aimed and fired,, at the victims. Killing one and wounding another.

That was deliberate. A conscious act.

Those words were what stood out for me as well. Yet your average reader has this seed planted in their subconscious and when we point it out we are called conspiracy theorists.

So cops see a couple guys running for the their lives out of an apt and one guy is bleeding everwhere...And that's the signal to just light up the place. And start shooting hostages.

I was wondering how many stories are going to start coming up with cops spraying bullets everywhere and killing innocent people.

So that's the phrase of the day, "Accidental Shooting"

I was really curious how they will gloss over the incompetence of just spraying bullets at everyone and shooting and killing at everyone that moves.

They will call it accidental shooting. It's a great word. Takes the evil out of it. Takes the responsibility out of it. It was an accident. It's like accidentally knocking over a glass of water at the dinner table. Ooops. We had to make a 1 second decision, it all happened so fast..So we just decided to shoot everyone...Ooops. Anyway, it was an accident. It's all good, we got the badguy...Eventually. Time to go back to the station...whew..what a day.

The parents are filing a lawsuit...But hey...It was an accident...These things happen...John did this to himself. He should have waited instead while Mr. Machete chops off heads, and just wait for the cops to show up and shoot everyone....Oh wait..
