Today our successful money bomb will give the campaign enough confidence to spend the way they have to in the Primary states. You know right at this moment they're approving commercials, writing checks, and giving eachother high fives because their supporters came through again! Today's money bomb was NEVER intended to beat November 5th -- THAT record is going to be broken on December 16th. But once today is over, the campaign will have over half a million new dollars to spend, and -- as Ron Paul said -- they WILL.

That was only the gust of wind that you feel as a storm approaches, which will be fallowed by an eerie calm. Everyone, and I mean everyone -- from other candidates, to the president himself will catch wind of December 16th. It's been mentioned on the news multiple times, it's been printed in a national paper, and Ron Paul even spoke about it briefly on T.V.

The day isn't even over and there have already been over twice as many donors as their were pledges.

With more than two weeks before the December 16th money bomb, and a brand new Presidential Debate before then, there's no telling how many new supporters will step aboard, and open their wallets. For all we know, 200,000 people could have already set aside $100 for the Big Day. Nothing would surprise me.

However, we must assume that we have not reached far enough, by a long shot. We mustn't allow complacency to set in while our deadline approaches. With more than two weeks remaining, we must buckle down, and sprint to the finish! This is the last stretch. Records were made to be broken!

I think we did good today, the day isnt over and yet this should propel us into the Dec 16th, the real money bomb that will shake up the establishment.

The money bomb is not over!

We are raising money like crazy!

We have another half hour for the ONE HOUR money bomb and then FOUR MORE HOURS until midnight!

I say we can have an ALL OUT PUSH and raise another million dollars!

Take a look at the TeaParty pledges; they've gotten a nice boost today too!

Alright, I'm going in for another $10 -- against my financial judgment. ;)

Who can beat my $10 with their second donation of the day?

The feeling associated with regular, ordinary Americans donating to a cause such as this...competing against every other candidate and their special interest dollars, and raising this kind of money has got to just baffle all the punditsand so-called experts out there....

Look at the power you folks working hard on this grassroots campaign yield....be proud....it's awesome, simply awesome!

Congratulations.........and the night ain't even over yet ;)

$25 earlier today, $50 @ 7:00, another $25 later tonight

There are already articles talking about a "crack in the armor of the Paul Nation" by us not raising $2.4m, but we have fear no more and all those fence-sitting who begin to doubt is merely the sound of the sea getting sucked back before the tsunami cause by the Teaparty

Let's keep this bumped for any of those lurking internet people who can't wait to write something negative about Ron Paul.

What they don't realize is that our high goals are made so we'll land among the stars, and that our bickering is a healthy exchange of one-ups-manship with the mutual goal of getting Ron Paul some media exposer. To those people who can't wait to write something negative I say THANKS! Because on December 16th you'll absolutely have to acknowledge how unified we are.

The country does extend beyond the Hudson you know.

It is only fair to count contributions until 12 midnight is reached in all time zones.

We will be over 1/2 million. I think that is a great result all things considered.

This event had a short planning period and is on one of the worst days of the week for reaching people (and getting news coverage). Plus there are plenty of competing demands for money from the blimp, official campaign letters, Tea Party, Christmas etc.

Those who interface with the media when asked about not meeting the goal should probably respond that we always set our bar high and mention the other projects our fellow members are committing money to.

A great day for the campaign :D

If you recall our last Q3 week push? It took us 3 days to raise $500K and we raised 1.2 in 7 days. Look at us today. On a whim we can raise $500K with small $25 donations.

Another way to look at it is that we will probably end up with 3X as many donors as there were pledges with an average donation of $79 (as of right now). I wonder how many new donors stood up to the plate today. There are certainly a constant stream of new participants on this board a strong indicator of good things to come on the 16th.
