We need to go back to a complete private school system, where private schools set their own rules of conduct. If there are schools and parents so nutty who see no problem with teachers having orgies between classes, then so be it. On the other hand, if there are schools and parents who object to such behavior, then there shouldn't be any problem with that either. It is only when we have public schools and government courts, where rulings come down that apply to all, without regard to the tastes, sensitivities, moral and cultural values of individuals, that we have situations that can be contra to the values held by many and which results in taxpayers supporting this nuttiness.

A private school system would solve the problem by allowing many different types of schools and parents would be able to choose schools for their children that reflect their values.

"Oh, s---!" one of the teachers yelled out.

A school safety agent was summoned and arrived in time to catch the pair "naked" - one "on her knees" and one "lying on the floor," the documents show.

"One female had on pants with no shirt; she was putting on a white bra with one breast still hanging out," Waite reports.

The lovebirds were lucky that they were discovered by school personnel and not students who were on the third floor at the time, the superintendent notes.

An assistant principal was called in to identify the pair, arriving in time to catch Brito still "buttoning her shirt" and "putting on her shoe."

Mauro and Brito were also called out by the superintendent for drunkenness because they had slurred speech, red eyes and stumbled around, witnesses said.

Mauro and Brito were cited for "inappropriate sexual behavior in Room 337" and drinking an "undetermined amount," and they were charged with misconduct.

I don't know if that's true, but most women I know think that anybody stupid enough to get caught playing around inappropriately deserves to be reprimanded. As the mother of two former middle-school aged boys, I would be furious that these two were allowed to remain in the classroom simply because of the perennial distraction the situation creates.

Well, that's one question answered. It wasn't apparent how anyone knew about this. If they had not been caught, it wouldn't be an issue. Their lack of discretion is the problem. What if kids had walked in?

Now it's interesting that the "handymen" took the action they did. Their first response was apparently to call the "police" (safety agent). Good little Nazis. And they spoiled the oldest story line in adult entertainment history. ;)

This would be an issue to be addressed by the employer. They have every right to fire them for this. On the other hand, a reprimand would be just as acceptable. Once it is public in a teaching situation, firing would be the most likely option. How it became public is another issue. A real employer would not want this to damage the businesses reputation, so the story being public is a major issue.
