Ron needs to take up this challenge, especially with Thompson competing for the "true conservative" vote. Notice that he is even now using "revolution" as the title of the campaign ad...

There is a cavet that Thompson needs to accept the person to debate, but again, a refusal makes the potential for a news story.

I vote to promote the idea/article and make sure the campagin knows aobut it.

"Anybody who's a serious contender for the nomination — I would get to decide as to who I'd get to sit down with, and it'd be several. And I'd do it one-on-one, one-on-three or whatever."

I find it highly unlikely he'd agree to a debate with Ron.

Remember that some them (like McCain) think that they can score points for themselvesby invoking Nationalism and "pro-military" war talk versus Paul. They are partly correct, but it also gets RP more air time and offers voters an alternative that they didn't realize. I think it is a good trade.

So you may or may not be right but I think it is worth a try. I hope the campaign does. It is my opinion depsite supporting them that they have been whiffing a few PR chances thus far.
