Republican David Jolly beats Alex Sink in Florida special election

Published March 11, 2014FoxNews.com

Republican David Jolly narrowly defeated Democrat Alex Sink on Tuesday in a Tampa-area House race largely seen as a critical test for ObamaCare. With nearly 100 percent of the vote counted, Jolly had 48.5 percent of the vote to Sink's 46.7 percent. Libertarian Lucas Overby had 4.8 percent.
The race to replace the late Rep. Bill Young was considered a tossup, and was cast as a political bellwether, and a testing ground for each party's messaging strategy -- which revolves in part around the Affordable Care Act.

Dems in tight races would be running away fast from disgraced SWC droneking and SWCcare if this election is any indication of things to come.

Saw this mentioned in USA Today today as a potential bellwether for November.

Nice to see for whom the bell tolls.

It would be sweet if the Republicans took the Senate. There'd be more Executive Orders, true, but the Dems can't argue that they're Constitutional. Well, they would, but it's easy to mock them when they do.

As long as Bill Young held that seat, it is kind of sad that it was as close as it was.

Did you guys read quotes from the loser's concession speech at the end?

"We don't know what the future holds, but I'll do what I've always done and continue to serve my community. Although we're disappointed, the bars are open," she said.
With that, Sink left the ballroom.

Ha ha ha!!!!!

I saw where the Libertarian folk were crapping on Rand endorsing the winner of this race.

Are these LINOs or real Libertarians?

Unless they marched to Ron Paul's call against Foreign Interventios to preserve Liberties in 2008, I would consider them dopey LINO's.

Maybe SWC disgracebag team doesn't want this to be discussed on networks?

Democrats will lucky to hold the Senate. Rank and file Democrats messaging now is that "Obamacare is flawed, but we want to fix it not repeal it."
