I was on the air with Neil's sub: Herman Kane. Mr Kane let me go on a 3 minute economic diatribe rant on economics, sound money, and the constitutional wisdom. Mr. Kane was pushing a positive outlook on the economy and was reflecting some of Ben Bernanke's latest statements of an economic slowdown. Mr. Kane was also singing the praises of Huckabee, who has recently been riding on the Paul-borne eliminate the IRS issue. Here is the gist of what I went over in about 3 minutes:

Plato's “The Laws" advocated that the state should create fiat money.

Under the resulting US Constitution adopted September, 1787, the states were prohibited from making anything other than gold or silver a legal tender, and they were furthermore prohibited from issuing paper money.

Congress passed the Federal Reserve Act in late 1913 on a mostly partisan basis, with most Democrats in support and most Republicans against it. There is much controversy around this event, for more info: E Griffen’s ‘Creature from Jeckyl Island’

1929 crash [which contained some sinister behind the curtain elements] gave the government and opportunity to apply elements of Plato's fiat money philosophy

in 1934, the US Supreme Court decided, in a 5-4 decision, that the Congress could indeed make gold illegal [which extended all the way to 1975].

Meetings of some components of the Fed Reserve activities are held behind closed doors, and the transcripts are released with a lag of five years...which demands questions on transparancy on market stability manipulation, interest rates, and money supply.

On November 14, 2007, federal agents raided the Indianapolis headquarters of a company called NORFED, the National Organization for the Repeal of the Federal Reserve Act and Internal Revenue Code, and seized its holdings of gold, silver, and copper, much of it in the form of coins bearing the likeness of US Congressman Dr. Ron Paul of Texas, a candidate for the Republican nomination for President. Congressman Paul has been an IRS abolishing advocate for a long time.

This candidate Ron Paul is a strong endorser of the US constitutional and Austrian Von Mises economic philosophy which will not obviously not tolerate the burden of simultaneous socialism and nation building without long-term economic damage....and recently candidate Mike Huckabee has adopted this removal of the IRS as part of his platform [despite his checkered past on taxes]......and he thanked me and the call ended.....

......above all I was dropping Ron's good name, but Mr. Kane let me rant to Neil Boortz right-leaning audience. Thank you Mr. Kane, please reconsider your support for Huckabee and JOIN THE RON PAUL REVOLUTION!!!
