I don't mind, if they ever threatened me with it I'd simply reply, "Yeah I watch porn, and I LOVE IT."

Don't see the big deal here.

A couple of browser highjacks on my first computer,, and a bunch of stuff I didn't want to see,(and wasn't searching for) is the reason I quit using windoze.

Don't see the big deal here.

The big deal is: IT'S NONE OF ANYBODY'S FUCKING BUSINESS.

Certainly not government's business to be used against you.

Maybe you're cool with it, maybe they'd just have to up the ante'...

Make it something that does bother or shame you.

I know that there are not many things that do bother people in today's "hey, look at me" culture, but I'm guessing there are a few things left within everybody's pysche that would be uncomfortable to broadcast to your neighbors.

Not to mention the fact that you are breaking the law every day.

Put enough surveillance on people and you'll find them breaking some law.

Which is, of course, the definition of a police state.

I think you might see the big deal if I put "gay" in front of porn (or at least most guys would). Maybe BDSM is what they'll go with to discredit you, or simulated child porn (women who look 13 but are actually of age), or maybe insertions of odd objects... starting to see it now?

Right on. Remember the Clarence Thomas hearings? Somehow, we got to hear about Clarence Thomas's porn habits? How did they find this stuff out.

Everybody does something bad.

Everybody running for office does something bad.

We don't hear about the bad stuff the candidates do when the candidates are in favor of more spying.

We hear about the bad stuff the candidates do who want less spying.

So, the spies get everyone's data, and if they don't like what you're doing, they go to the media and the media says that whatever it is that you're doing is absolutely the worst thing ever. Not trying to say that the spies are in charge, assume that they're the agents for someone else - bankers, whatever.

Is Obama actually an American? Doesn't matter, I guess, but if he did things they didn't like, it would be a different story.

"13. In order that our scheme may produce this result we shall arrange elections in favor of such presidents as have in their past some dark, undiscovered stain, some "Panama" or other—then they will be trustworthy agents for the accomplishment of our plans out of fear of revelations and from the natural desire of everyone who has attained power, namely, the retention of the privileges, advantages and honor connected with the office of president."

Hmm, I think that explains Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts blackmail?

Wish Snowden could of told "US"

PS: Look at the warrant-less distribution of illegal spying... Look at the list of people who knew!

This is outrageous, yet totally predictable...and we can be damn sure they're spying on more than just Al Qaeda sympathizers in this manner. It reminds me of this post from another forum:

"Without discussing specific individuals, it should not be surprising that the US Government uses all of the lawful tools at our disposal to impede the efforts of valid terrorist targets who seek to harm the nation and radicalize others to violence," Shawn Turner, director of public affairs for National Intelligence
