Eh, no need to draw EXTRA attention to what is shaping up to be a healthy-but-well-short-of-the-goal fundraising day. It's not going to hurt us much if we fall short, but it doesn't really help us either. December 16th will help us though.

Dugg. But what is it with the links broken like this is youTube?

It would be more convenient to have a clickable link.

I read that they may bury it if it connected back here, I'm just being careful.

All internet traffic is logged on the servers that serve the content.
When you click on a link to say youtube . com, youtube will show ronpaulforums.com as a referrer.
Someone can skew results that all or a high percentage comes from a single site of rabid supporters thereby making the real message diluted or proving to some that Ron Paul is really supported by 40,000 internet junkies.

Likewise, when the URL has query strings (like ?v=KJSIjw_ee&k=3343), it will show as a direct entry which is sometimes unlikely without a referrer.

From the article:

"GOP donor Mark Guzzetta, who helped organize a $2,300-per-person reception in Coral Gables on Thursday for the more-established candidate Mitt Romney, said the Internet can't and won't replace traditional fundraisers."

What a moron. I'm not kidding... just... wow.

I'm so happy the other candidates don't have a clue about the internet. It's the greatest untaped resource in the world and they're acting like it's a joke.

dugg by the way.

... or proving to some that Ron Paul is really supported by 40,000 internet junkies.

Is it possible that Paul in fact *is* supported by 40,000 (or so) internet junkies?

Could it be that his support is really not that great compared to Mitt, Rudy etc?

How many supporters does each candidate have, approx? Anyone know the stats on this?

Off the cuff, I'd say it's more than huckabee for sure.

With 5000 showing up in PA this month, that's 12% of 40,000 and basing that on the per capita map of donations, it seems that the support numbers are much larger then the media will ever acknowledge.

Judging by dontations, probably more than Hillary

In Q3, donors are as follows:

Obama 62916
Hillary 59406

Paul 5339

Q4 is supposed to be a slow month but the estimated unique donors for Pauls campaign is 85,989.

That's pretty significant. On top of that, the new donors per day for Paul is @ 300+

Judging by the per capita donations, WV has been a problem state yet we have a fair amount of delegates.

Now Hillary did make a $1 million donation day and I'm not aware of any other massive fund raising effort that has had success. (Thompson and Obama were popular on these threads)

Huckabee has been raising some good cash but I don't think he'll make his November goal. I do see December as a good month him though.

We have to pretend that we are 40,000 supporters going against the machine.
