Corporate controlled media is why democrats were strongly against the war, but now are OK with it. It is why democrats currently think the #1 issue is gays losing the right to marry infavor of the privilege for an expensive divorce.

It’s the reason why conservatives no longer trust the 2nd amendment for our defense but rather a police state and an empire with troops in 130+ nations.

It’s why Ron “the mayor of crazy town” Paul never had a chance and we were called terrorists for having a moneybomb.

Corporate controlled war is why the Haliburton CEO makes $40,000,000 a year for doing nothing of value and a brain damaged vet who was brainwashed by the corporate media gets no care.

It’s why our wars will never end.

Corporatism is why politicians ignore the constitution and establish laws that harm us to protect corporations.

It’s why a man can’t run his own business because corporate controlled government makes everybodys’ business their business so that only big business can prosper.

Corporate welfare is one of the reasons for our debt and inflation.

Corporate controlled technology allows corporations to get rich while we become enslaved and spied upon.

It's why our food and healthcare kill us.

Corporate controlled police and the military industrial complex are why were haven’t been a free nation in many years and other countries hate us.

Corporate controlled media is why most people aren't aware of this and chant "USA" as martial law comes to town.

Yes Marxism sucks too. Any form of control with the threat of violence sucks, including Corporatism.

I'll just leave this here:

"Merchants have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains."

This is true. "Corporatism does not equal freedom or freemarkets"

And basically for the reasons you state. However, you are using lots of "cognitive distortions". The fact you use them is not your fault. If I didn't understand them and how they were integrated into our language, and thinking (oh sh*t) and I was "liberal" (a label) I would be put off.

"Cognitive distortions" have been subliminally taught through TV, films and other media types since about 1980. My father was nauseated by it when he happened to watch sitcoms. soaps, game shows etc. He did not know what it was, but knew it was dangerous to critical thinking that could reach an absolute conclusion which could contribute to understanding.

Understanding is VERY powerful for human beings. The infiltration of our government quickly used mass media to introduce language that fouled cognition. critical thinking, BECAUSE preventing such blocks understanding, which is most often needed for unity across social divisions. They worked to create ANY division they could. Witness riots at football games if you need an example of the extreme they have managed to take this to. When people have been made afraid of one another and places to gather and share are eliminated, it really is not the peoples fault. Understand this disability your fellow American MAY suffer from. Get good at recognizing distortions and how people become irrationally invested in things by unconsciously being influenced by them and using them.

A slogan is a generalization of some type. Generalizations are mostly seen as cognitive distortions. Here is a list that cognitive therapists use that lead to an understanding of how individuals justify their behaviors, or what leads to the behaviors, thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

The conspiracy utilizing media made all of these things appear as a normal part of discourse. This was done covertly, a little at a time by groups demonstrating them falsely as functional. You can find them used extensively in "cognitive infiltrations" of web forums where any critically important political discussion is occurring.

COGNITIVE DISTORTIONS

1. All or nothing thinking: Things are placed in black or white categories. If things are less than perfect self is viewed as failure.

2. Over generalization: Single event is viewed as continuous failure.

3. Mental filter: Details in life (positive or negative) are amplified in importance while opposite is rejected.

4. Minimizing: Perceiving one or opposite experiences (positive or negative) as absolute and maintaining singularity of belief to one or the other.

5. Mind reading: One absolutely concludes that others are reacting positively or negatively without investigating reality.

6. Fortune Telling: Based on previous 5 distortions, anticipation of negative or positive outcome of situations is established

7. Catastrophizing: Exaggerated importance of self's failures and others successes.

8. Emotional reasoning: One feels as though emotional state IS reality of situation. ie.

9. "Should" statements: Self imposed rules about behavior creating guilt at self inability to adhere and anger at others in their inability to conform to self's rules.

10. Labeling: Instead of understanding errors over generalization is applied.

11. Personalization: Thinking that the actions or statements of others are a reaction to you.

12. Entitlement: Believing that you deserve things you have not earned

This is a pretty interesting flier that a motivational speaker gave you. I'm just curious why you chose to post it here after being relatively dormant for a few years.
