I would really believe this is staged, but as we continue to find that 25% of people think the sun goes around the earth, Astrology is a "Science", and 75% of Oklahoma High School Students cant name the First President, my head just starts to spin at the pure stupidity of people. I've tried recreating a couple of Mark's questions. From people that dont know that phone numbers that start with 555 are FAKE to people that dont know how much an ounce of gold is worth. Im sure if I were to ask them when 9/11 happened, they couldnt even tell me the Day and Month.

It is reasonable to not believe the comments made by the people Mark interviews. Forget about Mark, ask your neighbors and friends the BASICS and see what they know.

Well, technically, they arent fake, theyre reserved for the phone company themselves. At least, they were. 555-1212 used to be the number for "Directory Assistance", which was just an alias of 0 for Operator. Since im off topic, *72 <phone number> is Call Forwarding. *73 is Call Unforwarding. Useful if anyone still has a landline. Everyone probably knows *69 Callback. Probably a good number of other tricks I dont remember...
