From the NC Tea in the GOP Facebook page:

http://dailycaller.com/2014/02/12/n-c-republican-senate-hopeful-backed-state-exchange-in-2011/

North Carolina Republican Senate hopeful Thom Tillis has been a very vocal critic of Obamacare, but when he was speaker of the state House, he helped bring a bill to the floor that would have created a state health care exchange...

Tillis campaign spokesman Jordan Shaw explained that House bill 115 was brought to the floor because General Assembly and Senate leaders were working to figure out the best way to deal with the requirement in the new law to establish a state exchange or go on the federal exchange, and initially, it seemed that a state exchange was the better plan.

Now granted, he only brought it up. It didn't really go anywhere, so I doubt whether this would have any real effect. I'd put it on Tillis' page except, you know, I've been banned.

Brannon needs tv ads to become more well known to voters and drive donations. Of course you need donations to first make the tv ads. Catch 22.

We need Liberty PAC to step in and help get Brannon's profile in front of the masses in NC.

The Poll isn't consistent. Why would Alexander do better than Brannon against Hagan?

The Poll isn't consistent. Why would Alexander do better than Brannon against Hagan?

There is a certain section of the GOP base who won't vote for Brannon no matter what, and ironically, it is because they claim Brannon didn't vote for Romney. They would vote for Hagan over Brannon. After Bill Flynn dropped out, all of his support went to Ted Alexander.

The trivial difference between the two probably stems from the fact Alexander is a more "appealing" name to voters than Brannon. Don't look for consistency in a poll where 75% of the respondents have never even heard of the two guys you are comparing.

Yeah, somewhat meaningless at this point when most of the people don't even know the candidates.

Alexander has a lower favorable and higher unfavorable than Brannon. It must just be an anomaly, and a few percent of the people taking the poll can't remember how they answered the previous questions.

Hagan dropeth like a rock, verily. Ouch, 40 vs. 52, that ain't margin of error, folks.

Seems like great news overall! Happy for Brannon and our NC patriots! Steady progress...

I don't get the favorability ratings either. It's pretty much the same picture with Bevin here in Kentucky, but when we actually talk to people they are enthusiastic.

Within striking distance.

And remember, this is AFTER Tillis has dropped $300K on ads to try to raise his name recognition and depress his negatives. Brannon has spent no money on radio or TV, and is still within easy striking distance.

If Brannon can raise enough money to get on the air, we've got this thing. Let's make sure he can!
