That's nice, but the poll doesn't include Huckabee or Jeb Bush (but it does include Santorum??), so it is probably a bit off.

Edit: Any idea why Rand's crosstabs usually indicate his highest level of support is ages 65 and older? I would think the younger age bracket would be higher considering Ron Paul's younger support base. This poll shows 9% for Rand for ages 18-35, and 15% over age 66.

Probably because the 65 and older group were supporters of Goldwater. There are a lot of similarities between Goldwater and Rand Paul.

That's my theory.

The 65 and older group watches the most Fox News, particularly Hannity, where Rand makes a lot of appearances.

Nebraska seniors likely have different opinions than Florida seniors.

Very few young people are even thinking about the overall problems in this country, let alone what's crackin in a GOP prospective primary lineup this early. This is a nice problem to have which is inverse of what we went through with Ron. Elder generations have money to burn, have similar personal contacts and make lots of phone calls. Rand's playing the game perfectly.

Steady as she goes. We all need to be working the net though! GOP folks, for the most part, like libertarians but aren't sure one can win since Dr. Paul didn't. They need to see that Rand is not only viable, but winning. So please Tweet the story, Facebook it, Google+, etc. Here's the link: http://race42016.com/2014/02/06/poll-watch-harper-pollingconservative-intel-r-nebraska-2016-republican-primary-survey/
