Anything ( or anyone ) that can unite people to such a great extent is unequivocally a magnificent thing.

It's still so amazing to me I can hardly believe it.

Regardless of how this whole thing turns out, we're all going to be a part of a great thing.

Win-win situation for anyone invovled, if you ask me.

That said, let us tighten our grips on our ultimate goal. Let us unite even stronger than ever before. Let us pour our hearts and souls into making this work. Envision victory and allow nothing less.

Imagine for me the gratification as Dr. Paul is sworn in. Imagine for me, decades from now, telling your grandchildren how you were a part of the Revolution that changed our country.

Imagine. Then make it happen.

Revolution

a drastic and far-reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving

Remember that a revolution continues to gain momentum until it reaches it's purpose. Keep giving your best effort. Stay positive and committed.

This is probably the most important and critical election in our history and probably for the entire world.

It's humbling, exciting, scary .. I will weep tears of joy on inauguration day.

very inspirational!
I can hardly stop thinking about it anymore.

You make a great point about win-win. EVEN IF Paul doesn't win, this movement is here to stay, and we could effectively tear apart the republican party! Think about it- how many die hard supporters of ANY of the other candidates do you know? Or even know of? The vote will be so fractioned off that even if we get 12-15% it will be mission accomplished, and on to the next mission- run indy or start a new party!

Someone else made a great point earlier about this movement. The fact is Ron Paul has already won...He has already had a huge victory because his ideas are now permeating the consciousness of the American people...slowly, "like a thin haze". Everyday people are beginning to realize just how far we have strayed from the Constitution... These are patriotic Americans and their hearts ache over this, but rather than the disappointment and apathy they would have felt in the past, people today are thrilled to find that THEY ARE NOT ALONE...and that millions of people are fighting every day for the principles of liberty.

Even if the establishment shoves Paul out of the race (and I think they will FAIL at this), the freedom movement is here to stay.

Awesome. Once the election involving Paul is over the topic of what congressional elections need to be backed by us will be debated strongly I think.

Personally I think if it works out backing Gov. Sanford against Lindsey Graham would be a sure plan for getting that seat.

And then we have some people in the grassroots wanting to run too like you. So we should get something nice going I think as long as we can manage to hold the meetups together. Thats the key. I'm afraid a lot of people won't stay with them with Paul gone.

From A Republic, If You Can Keep It (http://www.house.gov/paul/congrec/congrec2000/cr020200.htm) February 2, 2000

“I have good friends who are in basic agreement with my analysis of the current state of the American Republic, but argue it is a waste of time and effort to try and change the direction in which we are going. No one will listen, they argue, and besides the development of a strong centralized authoritarian government is too far along to reverse the trends of the 20th Century. Why waste time in Congress when so few people care about liberty, they ask. The masses, they point out, are interested only in being taken care of, and the elite want to keep receiving the special benefits allotted to them through special-interest legislation. I understand the odds, and I am not naive enough to believe the effort to preserve liberty is a cakewalk. And I am very much aware of my own limitations in achieving this goal. But ideas, based on sound and moral principles, do have consequences. And powerful ideas can have major consequences beyond our wildest dreams. Our Founders clearly understood this, and they knew they would be successful, even against the overwhelming odds they faced. They described this steady confidence they shared with each other when hopes were dim as “divine providence.” Good ideas can have good results and we must remember bad ideas can have bad results.” - Ron Paul 2-2-00

He said that nearly eight years ago. Thank God he never quit!

Being with so many like minded people on wednesday, united for common cause, was something I had never felt before. It was quite exhilarating. I look very forward to more.

Paul Broun in Georgia (current GOP House member who beat the GOP establishment candidate) could also use the help to retain his seat! He's being out-raised immensely right now and needs help desperately.

I'm not much of a crier, but I will definitely have a few tears when we win the White House. And I say we, and I mean it. Most other candidate's supporters never use the word "we" when referring to their candidate accomplishing something or actually taking the white house. We say "we" because it is about us, just as Ron Paul said in his post-debate speech, this isn't about him, its about us. When the campaign raised 4 million in one day, we said "we" raised 4 million in one day, not "Ron Paul raised 4 million in one day". Think about it for a moment, this is not about Ron Paul, this is about a much broader movement. Its a revolution. And if Ron Paul doesn't become president, the revolution will keep on going because we will have other local, state, and federal candidates to support, and eventually a President who believes in the same ideals we do.
