I cannot get on meetup say that is temporarily down. Maybe they are doing the upgrades mentioned a few weeks ago?

they ar eprobably finally implementing the new feature they've been talking about, it's supposed add some ability for meetups to work together I'm assuming someething like meetup groups made of meetup groups
