Nice to see a third party membership increase!

what is blowing my mind is the parish organizations that are now all over the state.
prior to the ron paul revolution we could get 5 people to show up in an entire congressional district.

Scott Lewis was first elected to the central committee the last year I was an at-large rep on the committee.
which would be around 2007.

Nobody informed the Louisiana NAACP that Libertarians are racist so this guy must be an Uncle Tom?

/end sarcasm

Seriously though, that's great news! Thanks for posting it. Side note, before clicking on thread I thought "LA" meant "Los Angeles". :D

During my tenure with the LALP, we took the time to visit neighborhoods and talk to people. it works.
t. lee horne, III helped tremendously in that effort as his family was already well liked because they had donated a church to one of the communities we recruited from...
It was so good to see a mix of people finally in the LALP. prior to our outreach, it was just a bunch of white dudes.

but once it is explained, everyone loved the ideas of liberty.

People think Louisiana to be a racist place.. but it really isn't.
Louisiana is gumbo... it is jambalaya... it is lagniappe...
we have one area that would be considered david duke country, and it is very isolated and poor area. no reason to stop.
