I was just writing a post (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=44161) in the "Project Help Offers" sub-forum.. and I gave myself a great idea.

Has anyone considered the possibility of getting their car wrapped? This is where every inch of the car is covered in an adhesive vinyl advertisement. From what I've read, they have an ample life span (around 5 years), and seem like they would be a GREAT way to get the message out.

If I could afford one of these, I'd head to Dallas and get myself stuck in traffic at 8AM and 5PM every single day. I'm not sure of the actual cost of these.. but I can't imagine they would be TOO expensive. A few thousand maybe?

The good part about something like this is that you can display it as much and as often as you'd like... wherever you want. And people are pretty much forced to look at it, unlike a magazine or something where only a select group will see it (and most will skip over it).

Example from Google images:

Here are a few sites I've found that offer this:

http://www.topwraps.com/
http://www.adsonwheels.com/
http://www.skinzwraps.com/
http://www.getwraps.com/
http://www.modernimage.net/
http://www.ad-wraps.com/
http://www.carwraps.net/

http://www.stripeman.com/
and plenty more on Google

What are your thoughts on this?

maybe people could get COMPANIES to put advertising on their car. the companies will pay you to have it on your car and will pay for the removal when you are done. the money earned could be given to the ron paul campaign.
