Today, SCOTUS is hearing a case that has the potential to strip away more power from the unions.

We have this in Michigan too. The unions lobbied the Democrats, and got everybody who gets a government check to help with a disabled kid or adult classified as a home healthcare worker, parents included. Then, Governor Quinn wrote an executive order that ordered the state to hold out SEIU dues from the stipends.

Needless to say, a lot of parents objected to that, and it's been fighting its way through the system eve since.

Of course the decision won't come until later in the session, but it is one to keep an eye on.
