I have the wood, and want to post this up on an overpass on the I-95. I'm just worried that someone would cut the tie clasps (where people can pass by) and have the sign fall on the oncoming traffic below. What do you guys think? It would be decent exposure in Miami if I did that
The reason I chose wood is because it won't falter as much in the rain.

NOT GOOD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
UNLESS IT IS POSITIONED ON THE BACKSIDE OF A GATE OR SOMETHING KEEPING IT FROM DROPPING TO TRAFFIC BELOW
and instead of that use Tyvek paper and make the sign on the paper

Agreed. Just make sure you keep it on the backside if you do it.

Be really really careful where you put signs near roads.
