Democrat Michelle Nunn of Georgia is highlighting a campaign donation from Republican Richard Lugar, a former Indiana senator who was defeated in 2012.


Nunn's father, Sam, and Lugar regularly worked together on foreign policy and other issues in the Senate.

Handel, the female Republican Senate candidate ran an ad against Nunn's support for bombing Syria a few months back.

Sam Nunn wasn't worth a crap either. It's funny thought to see a republican running an antiwar ad against a democrat.

It was close , it is a shame , that would have been most exceptional for the people . I did my part , he won my county in a landslide .
