I nominated Ben Swann for a Shorty Award - http://shortyawards.com/category/6th/journalist - and while Ben had the most votes last year and didn't win, I think things are different this year. Last year Ben was still with his FOX affiliate and last years winner - Tim Pool - honestly was doing something groundbreaking and different with his method of reporting on the Occupy movement. With Ben having gone independent and online and breaking new ground with his journalism - I think we can make it past the Shorty Award judges and win this thing.
