Not all of our supporters see the same information online at the same time. Some are at work, some are driving somewhere to go meet friends, some are eating dinner, some are browsing one website while others are browsing another...you get the idea.
What if we had some type of call center that could send out text message alerts to all our supporters informing them of very important events coming up soon. Everyone would receive the same information at the same time. :D
Important alerts about:
-fundraisers
-Iowa caucus information: when and where to go, etc
-Other state caucus/primary information
-how to find VITAL, SPECIFIC information about the grassroots campaign's efforts online
-reminder to go vote when the time comes
-and so much more
This idea just occured to me and I'm not really sure where to begin or if we should even be in charge of it. Perhaps it's something the campaign could add to their website and ask everyone to sign up for by entering their cell phone numbers.
