Two-term limits is good. Makes it a little easier to overturn his shit later. Surprised he actually did that one.

"Red" Bill is getting off to good start:

At a December news conference, de Blasio announced his plan to outlaw horse-drawn carriages once he takes office. De Blasio stated "We are going to get rid of horse carriages, period." He confirmed to the media that he hired legal counsel who will deal with the legislative approach

With NYC’s horse-drawn carriages on way out, tourists rush for a last ride

Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio plans to ban the iconic tourist attraction after taking office, saying it’s inhumane to make the animals work the city’s dangerous streets, and that they can be replaced by alternatives like antique-style electric cars.

Of course, after a little digging around, it seems clear that the beneficiary is some real estate developer, who wants the stable property for parking garages.

Very progressive.

Deblasio banned the horse carriages in central park. Hes really hitting the big issues. On this New York forum im a part of these leftists morons are cheering him on. All they can do is ban ban ban. They claim its in the interest of the horses...you got to be fucking kidding me. So now a few hundred small business owners are out of a job and New York loses a historical attraction.

He ran and won 3 terms. During the 2nd term, he decided he wanted to run again. So he had the City Council allow him to run again. Term limits for everyone except him...

The horses will now be dead won't they.

I suppose it did clear out the crowd that frequented such activity.

Greenhouse gas emissions (http://www.nyc.gov/html/gbee/html/challenge/mayor-carbon-challenge.shtml) (2007)

Bloomberg could have reduced greenhouse gas emissions in NYC by at least 80% in an instant, especially methane. All he had to do was shut his endlessly open mouth.

Exactly. Theyll be dead. Their former owners out of a job. Less tourists and couples in central park. A few radical environmentalists win.

Bloomberg also made it difficult for new mothers to get baby formula, and also requires them to get a lecture for wanting it.
