Noon 6/25: Hampton Roads, VA Ron Paul meet up group event

...the Hampton Roads, VA Ron Paul meet up group will be hanging around outside Regent University (where Guiliani will be speaking at a luncheon) passing out flyers and bumper stickers and holding up our Ron Paul signs (thanks wizardwatson!)

If anyone is in the area and wants to join in, come on by.

This is going to be the first actual event that our meetup group has been involved in.

Today is the big day. So far, we have 23 who have RSVP'd yes and 10 who have RSVP'd maybe. Yesterday one of our group e-mailed a local talk radio host who is a fan of Ron Paul about our rally and he read her e-mail on the air. (At the time he was giving away tickets to the Guiliani luncheon.)

I'm working really hard to convince our meetup members that we are not protesting Guiliani, but rather rallying for Ron Paul and we just happen to be doing it near a Guiliani event.
