In Canada. Audiomaxxx founder fined $550,000 Big Brother Music Industry Wins Again

The Bottom part of the article is rather laughable.
A Winnipeg man has pleaded guilty in what the Canadian recording industry calls a music and video piracy operation 20 times bigger than anything ever busted in the country.

Raj Singh Ramgotra, 36, faced dozens of charges when he was arrested in 2008 after an extensive RCMP investigation into Winnipeg-based Audiomaxxx.com.

The Audiomaxxx website showed the company was selling all manner of music and movies for $3.99 to $5.99 each, far below normal retail, and also offered digital downloading of videos and music.

The Canadian Recording Industry Association says many pirated artists were small Caribbean and reggae musicians, but performers such as Shania Twain, Nelly Furtado and Jay Z were also victimized.

Rather then shutting down the founder of Audiomaxxx the small unheard of small Caribbean and reggae musicians and Jay Z could have easily made a contract to simply have Audiomaxxx sell there albums on Audiomaxxx in which both the artists and the musicians would have gained profit and revenue in taxes.

But noooo. Jay Z decided along with other big star artists to play the victim card. At the same time while Jay Z makes millions in Profits from idiots buying his album.

Lets shut down all the websites they said while we play the we are the victims card.

The problem is that JayZ already promised someone else the exclusive right to sell his music.

If that person was you, and then JayZ decided to allow someone else to sell his stuff, and for a price lower than he was allowing you to sell it, wouldn't you be mad?

No i wouldn't in fact selling cheaper gives you more profits, but if you place higher taxes on whatever its games, music, movies, food tell me you think they will still have a profit from it?
