No students or teachers were in the building at the time of the report Tuesday morning. Authorities told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/19PLSvA ) that police who went inside the building found halogen light bulbs in a janitor's closet that might have fallen and made a noise mistaken for gunfire.

People are getting stupid, period.

People in general are overreacting to everything. People are losing their trust in each other. They see terrorists around every corner and look at anyone who carries a gun (including cops) as potential threats. People dont talk to each other in real life, they text. It could be that people are becoming too afraid to do anything because they are told that everything is a threat.

The People have been Fearmongered.

Theres a big thing in local news about another shooting at a Medical Center. I made a thread for it. Shooter critically injured two people and killed one, then killed himself. Its been on the news since the incident started. Yes, people did die and it is a tragedy. But when a homeowner shoots an assailant in self defense, the MSM does not report on it AT ALL. They barely report on 7-11 gets robbed 2 people die, and others critically injured. And they act like that is the expected "normal". Gang related shooting news is treated the same way. X number of people died, bla bla bla, police are investigating, then we never hear the outcome. Violence is "normal".

If this is what our perception of "Normal" has become, then its time we change the meaning of "Normal". Everyone knows where it ends if we dont.
