For the first six months of the campaign I gave it all I had. Everything I did had something to do with Ron Paul and how I could help. But lately I just feel that there is nothing more I can do. After watching the debate and listening to the war mongering Republicans, the frustration builds to a point where I just wish the whole thing was over with and the elections were tomorrow. I am sure others have felt this and might be able to give me some advice that could really help me get motivated again and seeing the positives in what I am doing.

Ya its tough. This election cycle is brutal. But remember Ron Paul is doing this and plans to for another year.

And he is 72....

Make sure to watch the post-debate speech by Dr. Paul when it hits YouTube. I was pissed and a bit depressed after the debate, but I am once more confident that he will win the nomination.

Have you become a delegate?
Have you gone to all of your local gun stores?
Have you gone to right-to-life meetings?
Have you assured that Ron Paul will be on your state's ballot?

There are just a few suggestions.

Seriously.....That man has been fighting all his life and has never given up hope.

Lets not Idolize Ron;

But let him be an inspiration to us for the rest of our lives.

Take a break. Tell yourself you won't do anything Paul. Beleive me, you will find yourself wanting, and jonesing to do something Paul within a day or two again.

Sit back and take a good look from an outside perspective on the big picture of this for a while. Peruse through RP youtube videos.

The calling is just to powerful to ignore for too long.

The other thing that re-ignites me when I feel burnt out, is watching youtubes of RP speeches. He re-energizes us for the cause and we, through our showing of support re-energize him.

I also get re-ignited by stories of what other people and meetup groups are doing and working on. It helps to not feel like, you are trying to get Paul the nomination all by yourself. When we get buried in our own individual efforts campaiging for him locally, we can start to feel like the burden is on our shoulders. Take some time to read posts and watch videos of what others around the planet are doing every single day to get Pauls message out.

Just look at how things were 6 months ago, compared to now.

More people on the forum, tons more supporters, tons more money, now we have REAL hope for a change. It's within our grasp!

This is just the beginning.

The first 6 months was just a warm up.

NOW is the time to kick it into high gear.

This isn't the time to quit, we're just beginning to win, just beginning, and we'll finish the race with a VICTORY!!

They're discrediting us. So let us discredit them by never watching any MSM or listening to any of these people looking for attention and ad revenue.

Yeah, the affiliate links don't belong here.

Tonight, I donated some cash and am burning Dr. Paul DVDs as we speak, tomorrow I am going to wake more monkeys up--triumph and disaster are both impostors.

IF.....

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

People on this forum really set their expectations to high for these debates. You've got to know by now Ron isn't going to get the air time or a high number of questions as the others.

He won't be lobbed softball questions he can easily answer to put himself in a good light, though he always pulls through. Huckabee the pastor was asked about the bible tonight. Thats the red carpet treatment usually reserved for Rudy. Where Rudy is handed the opportunity to shine with how the question is presented, Ron will be attacked to make him look unappealing in some way. Its an uphill fight to the end.

This has been going on for many debates and the support continues to grow. No worries. Keep spreading the message. Word of mouth is going to win this thing not a 90 minute debate.
