XBOX One, any real info? (Political Implications)

What's the deal with the XBOX One? Does it actually spy on people? What else does it do that I should be concerned with?

I've heard enough about the thing that its creeped me out. My little brother wants one, so I want as much evidence as possible as to whether it is or is not a threat to freedom.
