Paul dodges on indie run
Asked by a friendly if he'd run as an independent, Paul cited his GOP credentials.
But he also would only say that he has "no intention of" running as a third-party candidate.
Then he expressed wide-eyed amzement at his success and the grass roots that have grown around and above his feet.
"I'm happy to be lucky enough to be part of it," he said.
It was a nice moment, and made him seem as Mr. Smith'ish as he's been all campaign.
