No.

You posted before I even got my poll up (I said poll, not pole).

Yes, overall. Not for his politics, but for his sentiment later in life (which is his true legacy, I feel).

From what I know of him, I approve. (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?435014-In-Death-as-in-Life-Truth-About-Nelson-Mandela-Overlooked&p=5334638&viewfull=1#post5334638)

He certainly seems to be far more honorable and have more integrity compared to our own neecon planted SWC DDK.

He talked a good game about peace after he got what he want through violence.

The world needs more Desmond Tutus and less Nelson Mandelas.

Just black and white? No gray?

while divisive no doubt, he is still a hero especially to many oppressed African blacks. No one is a saint. The founding fathers owned slaves for chrissake.

He's certainly overrated, but in general, yes, I approve.

Yes or no?

That depends.

To a black South African Mr. Mandela is a hero.

Someday , an individual will liberate the Libertarian minority here in the US welfare/warfare police state . We will consider him a hero also.

Mandela isn't deserving of anymore attention or honor than Adam Kokesh is.

He's no Ron Paul, but sure why not.

Well I dunno if I'd hold a parade for him and create an entire holiday, but if you say so I guess I won't complain.

I'm gray I guess, I have mixed views about Mandela. He did some good things, he hurt SA in many ways too, but it was the leaders after him that did the real damage. I don't think he's nearly as great as the media suggests, though. I'm not for flags being held at half mast in his honor.

Respect the man's deeds not his actions.

I generally don't support socialism or communism. On the other hand, I don't support concentration camps. I am neither in favor of the government he lead, nor the government he replaced.

of course. my perception is that he was a man that favored peaceful change, fought oppression, etc.

the only bad thing he did was participate in the effort to bring the World Cup to S Africa (corruption is how fifa operates, and by association Mandela is a part of this)
