Had the case been reversed and Alian G's dad kidnapped him from his home in Florida and took him to Cuba, everyone here will be demanding his return.

But Elian Gonzalez situation was different.

Let me clarify that for you. The mother defected with her boyfriend, TAKING ELIAN WITH THEM.

Again, Let me RE-clarify this for you . As indicated above, The father KNEW that Elian was coming to the US 10 days prior to the departure.
