She also had her kids in vehicle with her after she fled police check point (but unlike unlucky Miriam Carey who did not survive after she fled a police checkpoint (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?430954-Lawyer-representing-family-of-Miriam-Carey-arrested&p=5275479&viewfull=1#post5275479)), this mother is lucky:

She was pulled over for speeding, BTW.

The New Mexico State Police officer who fired shots at a minivan full of children during a chaotic October traffic stop has been fired, a spokesman with the law enforcement agency said Friday.
Lt. Emmanuel Gutierrez, a State Police spokesman, said he confirmed with State Police Chief Pete Kassetas that Officer Elias Montoya was no longer employed by the department. Montoya's termination was effective at 5 p.m. Friday.

Not only he didn't get no standing ovation from Congress, he got fired. What a raw deal he got compared to those DC cops who chased and "neutralized" Miriam Carey.
In this case there was also hand to hand scuffle involved betweeh her 14 year old boy and police and this woman's lawyer has also not been arrested as of now.

Also, don't put your hands in your pockets (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?434880-Unarmed-Man-Is-Charged-With-Wounding-Bystanders-Shot-by-Police). You'll get shot.

Also, don't sit down or lay on the ground for them (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUs_6yTcLW4). You'll get shot.

Would you advise a Jewish person run from the Stasi in 1940 Germany?

I see that you are focussing on non-police party is conduct only so far. I was hoping you will have an opinion on the conduct of the policing party too that is trained and tax payers funded. But main point here is sharp contrast in how the victims/police actions in two similar cases are being treated.

Yesterday I was discussing if during Hitler's poular rule his supporters used to bring up "respect for Office of the Premier" to dismiss his critics then.

Does that imply that a lawyer for Miriam's family was arrested?!

That cop that smashed the window in with his billy club should also be fired.

The Stasi (Communist) was created in 1950, after Nazi Germany fell.

Markus Wolf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markus_Wolf), the head of the Stasi, was Jewish.

You have your facts mixed up.

Probably.
Most likely Miriam Carey would have been alive today if this cop was chasing her on that fateful day in DC instead of more militirized freedom police there.

Yes, he was promptly put away right after he went on natiomal TV raising questions and demanding "Justice for Miriam".

No, because then they would get shot instead of going to a work camp where they had swimming pools, put on theatrical performances, and played soccer when they weren't working.

Yes he does, like many do about Nazi Germany. The winners wrote the history books, and of course they made it seem like they were the good guys and the other guys were evil incarnate, they had to justify their inhumane treatment of German prisoners of war after the war was over somehow.

So he was fired, big deal... Should have been charged with attempted murder.

He'll end with a job as a cop elsewhere I bet.

I agree that its not worth it. Just take the ticket, live to fight another day.

That said, she was the victim here. Focusing on her conduct, rather than that of the pigs, is missing the point.

Maybe, but so what? Does that justify what they did?

St. Valentine's Day Massacre

By John O'Brien Tribune staff reporter
On this frigid morning, in an unheated brick garage at 2122 N. Clark St., seven men were lined up against a whitewashed wall and pumped with 90 bullets from submachine guns, shotguns and a revolver. It was the most infamous of all gangland slayings in America, and it savagely achieved its purpose--the elimination of the last challenge to Al Capone for the mantle of crime boss in Chicago. By 1929, Capone's only real threat was George "Bugs" Moran, who headed his own gang and what was left of Dion O'Banion's band of bootleggers. Moran had long despised Capone, mockingly referring to him as "The Beast."

At about 10:30 a.m., four men burst into the SMC Cartage Co. garage that Moran used for his illegal business. Two of the men were dressed as police officers. The quartet presumably announced a raid and ordered the seven men inside the garage to line up against a wall. Then they opened fire. Witnesses, alerted by the rat-a-tat staccato of submachine guns, watched as the gunmen sped off in a black Cadillac touring car that looked like the kind police used, complete with siren, gong and rifle rack. The victims, killed outright or left dying in the garage

In Florida, Criminals Pose as Police More Frequently and for More Violent Ends

MIAMI — A black BMW flashing red and blue lights suddenly filled Alexandria Armeley’s rearview mirror one evening last month. At a stoplight, the BMW’s driver pulled up next to her, waved a gold badge and told her “I’m a cop.”

A growing problem: Houston crooks committing crimes while dressed as cops
by Doug Miller / KHOU 11 News

HOUSTON -- They sure looked like cops.

The five men who barged through the door of a townhouse Monday wore Houston police raid jackets and carried Tasers and pistols. They cuffed the homeowner with a plastic tie, then kicked him in the stomach and started ransacking the place.

Even a police officer who rushed to the scene after a neighbor called for help momentarily thought the criminals were legitimate law enforcement officers working with a tactical squad. Only after they started running did he realize the impersonators were burglars.

She was pulled over for speeding, BTW.Oh, well that makes all the difference then. It's clear now, she deserved to be shot at along with any other occupants.
