Breaking news ......... in lock down.

A year ago I never heard of xxxx in lock down. Now it seems every week on local news some entity or city is in lockdown.

We used to have lockdowns in high school (mid noughties). Now that the kids are conditioned, expect it more frequently in civilian life.

About 4 or 5 years ago (back when I was in high school) we had a lockdown for a bomb scare. Turned out to be a prank. Missed a day of school which was awesome.

We always had lockdowns...once or twice a month...normally because there was an armed robbery nearby and the cops were looking for the perp.
