Virginia state Sen. R. Creigh Deeds stabbed in home; adult son, Gus Deeds, fatally shot
http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/crime/virginia-state-senator-injured-in-home-another-person-found-dead-inside/2013/11/19/3e419ac4-512c-11e3-9fe0-fd2ca728e67c_story.html

Geller declined to say who investigators think stabbed the senator, or discuss any motive. She said authorities are not looking for anyone else who might have been involved in the assault, an indication that the altercation involved only the senator and his son.

“We’re not looking for a third person,” Geller said. “We’re five hours into the investigation. There’s still a lot more work to be done.”

I wonder if he still opposes the right to self defense in your own home?

Son did it, then shot himself.

Son stabbed him,,then shot himself? Why not just shoot him then?

All the articles and Politicos are being very Politically Correct.

This Gun Grabber that was endorsed by the NRA is why the NRA has no credibility.

I wonder if he is still in favor of mandatory Gun Locks. Must be hard to unlock your gun while someone is stabbing you.

I'm not running for office,, I don't have to be PC.

Yeah, how is that whole being completely dependant on the Police for any form of Self Defense workin out for ya there Senator. Senator? Senator! Well, I guess it didnt work out so well.

Violence against any human being is no solution to the corruption of this country.

Son did it, then shot himself.

There is a report of that,,
http://www.wset.com/story/24009486/update-state-police-senator-creigh-deeds-stabbed-in-face-upper-torso-son-gus-dead-of-gunshot-wound

Which also makes no sense..
If he had a gun,, why use a knife?

And perhaps that is why the "investigation" is ongoing.

If he had a gun,, why use a knife?

Because it hurts more.

Because it hurts more.

I knew there had to be a reason .....

We are being led to believe.....

Which causes me to question.

And in any other case,, we would know what gun,, and who owned it.

and isn't it convenient that a cousin just happened along in the wee hours of the morning.

I just think that we are being led to believe something other than what actually happened,,,again.

Ten Bucks says the MSM spins this to somehow be a form of Gun Violence.

an updated report is saying attempted murder suicide.

So it again begs the question,, if he had a gun why the knife?

Unless the suicide part was aided by the helpful officers that showed up.

Or dad doesn't want to be associated with shooting his own son.

Seems there is a lot of rage in that home.

The knife is used for hate, so that he can feel every thrust and splash of his red rage. The gun was used for a quick, painless suicide.

Perhaps.
does add some conscious thought to "rage" though.

Who's gun?

Which causes me to question.

And in any other case,, we would know what gun,, and who owned it, and if their political views are "conservative"

Beat me to it.

The Joker: [to Det. Stephens] Do you want to know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick. You can't savor all the... little emotions. In... you see, in their last moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way, I know your friends better than you ever did. Would you like to know which of them were cowards?
