WASHINGTON — A leading pro-Israel group is condemning Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul after taking issue with critical comments he made to BuzzFeed about foreign policy mistakes made by “defenders of the promised land and the chosen people.”

Paul was discussing a speech he gave last year at the Value Voters Summit in which he said he struggled to reconcile his Christian beliefs with the notion of fighting wars.

“I think some within the Christian community are such great defenders of the promised land and the chosen people that they think war is always the answer, maybe even preemptive war. And I think it’s hard to square the idea of a preemptive war and, to me, that overeagerness [to go to] war, with Christianity,” Paul told BuzzFeed in a story published Friday morning.

I assume they want Jeb Bush. If they can't get Jeb Bush the nomination, or think they can't, they'll take someone else. I haven't looked at Christie at all, really, does he have longstanding ties to anyone of note, or is he just some sort of random politician. McCain was the son of an admiral, Romney's dad ran for President a few times, famous Mormon family, and knew Netanyahu for over 30 years.

In Wisconsin, dozens of conservative groups and allies of Gov. Scott Walker are undergoing political intimidation from the left at the hands of a special prosecutor.

Subpoenas have been issued demanding correspondence and donor information of right-leaning organizations and individuals and raids have been conducted resulting in law enforcement officers taking computers and files in a secret investigation, according to reports.

This was according to 300,000 viewers watching Rand Paul's interview on Fox. They only disagreed with him on not pledging war with Iran even though he didn't have all the intelligence that would be afforded to him if he was on the Senate Intelligence Committee. Who in their right mind would pledge war with Iran without having the top secret intelligence? I think a minority would. I think the majority of Americans would agree with Rand's level-headed response.

The timing is beyond coincidence from yesterdays nationally televised Kabuki Theater on ABC, then today's Walker targeting, with a center column placement on Drudge. Walker passes the smell test for the TPTB... a good rallying post for the right side to follow. I'll watch for the next "Event Horizon".
