I kinda got the sense Cavuto was trying to get into deeper topics in this interview and the guests weren't really allowing it to.
I'm not saying that as a negative, it is probably more politically wise.

I wonder if that might be why he [Cavuto] likes Ron so much - because Ron would get to the more 'core of the core' discussions about the topics.

Another observation is that Chris Christie wasn't really all that related to what the initial topic was suppose to be but Cavuto kept putting him in the discussion - I wonder if he was just trying to stir up some hot topics or maybe even trying to provide Rand with an opportunity to bash him. (I'd imagine Cavuto highly prefers Rand over Christie.)
Rand's answers regarding Christie were a little disappointing to me. Not that they were bad but I don't think he sold the "little bit at a time" money thing very well. When talking about Sandy I'm sure he'll win more brownie points with voters if he shapes his argument around whats best for the victims and points to the disgusting display of taking advantage of the tragedy by porking the relief bill.
