"In the name of winning elections the GOP created a media infrastructure which renders such a possibility of actual conservative governance as impossible. Too much energizing the base and becoming a party of cultural protest. Honestly what does the GOP have to offer the country at this point? No one really likes the Democrats either but at least they seems capable of at least articulating the problems/issues of contemporary America, even if theyre often on the wrong side of those issues."
