He promised to smoke weed and then didn't. I vote no. (are we voting?)

Who cares about weed?

Tancredo is a strong fiscal conservative who will support the laws in place regarding marijuana in Colorado.

I'm not a fan of grown men who welch on bets.

How are his Primary competitors? Any liberty candidates in there?

Even if there were libertarian candidates in this race, I'd still favor Tancredo. At the state level there isn't really that much difference between a solid conservative and a libertarian.

Tancredo ran for Governor as a Constitution Party candidate in 2010 (receiving 36% of the vote) and so has very high name recognition, he's also already polling virtually even with Hickenlooper (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2014/governor/co/colorado_governor_tancredo_vs_hickenlooper-3842.html). With a new candidate, we'd have to start from nothing, which is a big problem when you're almost at the end of the year and you're taking on an incumbent Governor.

He even supported passing the law that legalized marijuana.
