Police work is a thankless, stressful job since you don't know what's around the corner, but you can't be shooting up truck cabs without intel. This new breed of cops are psychos.

Tyler’s step-grandfather, Gary Shepley, 65, was also angry over police’s handling of the incident, demanding that “hard tough questions” be asked of the department.

“So he didn’t shut the damn truck off, so let’s fire six rounds at him? We’re confused, and we don’t understand,” Shepley said, adding that the police could have backed off the pursuit.

“They’re professionals. They’re trained to handle these situations. And if they panic before they even know what’s going on, then ask yourself: What if it was your child?” he added.

The worst way ever...to learn... NEVER CALL THE POLICE.

This is stomach churner. terrible, senseless tragedy. The dad is right....over a pack of cigarettes this kid ends up dead. The Police only know how to bring violence to any situation. They approach every situation the same way...with Violence.

One thing I'm wondering...If your car is actually stolen and you call the cops...What good does it do for the cops to fill it with bullet holes and kill the driver so it smashes into a tree?

How does that really help anything? Now your car is destroyed and bloody with a dead body in it? You want it back now?
