He's a hack and finally took his Obama/state worship to another level....

As for Virginia, Cuccinelli’s relatively strong showing suggests to me that the Tea Party is far from dead, and that the prospect of the poor getting health insurance still energizes them enormously. And tonight, I have to say, the respect I had for Ron Paul was obliterated by the following inflammatory rhetoric:

“Jefferson obviously was a clear leader on the principle of nullification. I’ve been working on the assumption that nullification is going to come. It’s going to be a de facto nullification. It’s ugly, but pretty soon things are going to get so bad that we’re just going to ignore the feds and live our own lives in our own states.”

That’s loaded Confederate rhetoric, and when combined with this statement – “The Second Amendment was not there so you could shoot rabbits. Right now today, we have a great threat to our liberties internally” – it crosses the line to promoting sedition. I’m done with him.

Drama queen. I lost all interest in him when he was on his weird weird, weird quest to prove that Trig Palin was actually not Sarah Palin's baby. Why he has any readers at all just baffles me.

Cuz he's gay and slightly less left wing. OH CONFEDERACY, BAD BAD BAD.
God, i wish the black confederate soldiers (0.001% of the army) could kick his ass.

In 2001, it came to light that Sullivan had posted online anonymous advertisements for unprotected anal sex, preferably with "other HIV-positive men".

And why would we want someone like that on our team?

You can stand in front of him. Not I.

The lines Sullivan hates were some of the best in the speech.

Sullivan is a dipshit. No wonder he's a recurring guest on Maher's show.

Isn't he British? Foreigners shouldn't be allowed to discuss American politics.

Agreed. It was so exciting listening about nullification and revolting against tyrannical government at a mainstream party candidate rally rather than an episode of the Tom Woods show. Nothing against Woods, I love the man, but seeing nullification being discussed in real politics is awesome.

Yeah yeah gay jokes, very clever guys. I'm sure all the bros on Xbox Live will be very impressed at your wit.

I'm more offended at his breathless shock at 'promoting sedition'. How dare anyone living in a country that was formed via a violent secession even THINK about such a thing! That's the sort of thing he should be laughed at about.

I wonder if Ron realized that Cuccinelli doesn't support nullification.

I blame Eduardo. :) I had no idea that Sullivan was trawling for HIV positive trouser snake on Craiglist, until he brought it up. We knew he was a poisonous snake handler, but never one of that caliber.

clearly, as alluded, he doesn't embrace the spirit and concept of a Constitutional Republic.

I wonder, what does he embrace?....

RP is of course exactly right. He only said nullification happens, which clearly it does. Ever hear about the Real ID Act, Sully?

How about Colorado and Washington's recreational marijuana use laws?

Nullification works...and will continue to be used more as the federal gubmint crumbles.

I don't think somebody who disagrees with Ron Paul about those two quotes ever did support him, unless they never had a clue what he was all about.

I think the progressives are doing a pretty good job of that themselves. There are two Americas and they are distancing themselves more and more every year.

Sadly, it seems Virginia has chosen to be on the progressive side.

So, go back there and tell them that with their divide and conquer rhetoric, their embrasure of totalitarianism and fascism (and yes, Obamacare is both), and their inability to tolerate diversity of thought, they're doing far, far more to incite civil war than any three members of the Paul family ever would or could.

As a personal favor to me?
