I was there.. it didn't look like 5,000 people to me either.. but I would certainly say more than 2,000. I don't know where they're getting their guess from.

They called him a liar?

I'd get some lawyers on that and see if they can't fix things. That's slander, non?

that one is easy to debunk, so much for CNN's "fact checking"

You have to prove that the statement not only was false, but that it was stated with malice, intent to harm the reputation of RP. And there have been court cases in the past that have said the media can lie in their reports.

I think that you could have a valid claim, but CNN knows that nobody will pursue a claim.

I have never liked that political commentator. He's such a goofball. Now I hate him even more for accusing Ron Paul of exaggerating the attendance at the rally.

SAhouldn't CNN reveal where they got their factcheck from? The span between the time the statement was made and their factcheck segment was very short.

After all lets remember the Sanjay Gupta factcheck fiasco when he was going up against Micheal Moore.

Dr. Paul was right - we COVERED the entire downtown area! 5k easy! Perhaps we were not 5k gather in one big glob - but 1-2k here another 2k-3k there, etc. CNN thought they were seeing the same people again and again, but they were not!

I think I'll be saying this all day:

They push us, we push back.

Make your own decisions on what you can do to push back. Honestly, the CNN debate was the straw that broke the camel's back.
