It's the TRUTH in most places. And even in open primary states, their vote won't really matter in the detailed stuff of who gets which delegates. Republicans who vote for Ron Paul and do the tough work of changing the party will matter. If you haven't changed your registration, change it. And then tell all your friends you have become a Ron Paul Republican. And then work to create a new Republican Party.

Yeah it's a totally bullshit imo. It's only there to enforce the two party system and penalize citizens who do not choose a Democrat or Republican. I'd like to see that go along with the electoral college. I think both systems hamper the democratic progress.

NH is very nearly the only open primary state.

There are states that let you change your affiliation at the poll, though.

There's like 20 states with open primaries and these are big ones like Michigan, Texas, and Ohio. Not to mention that Illinois and Iowa allow you to change your affiliation at the polls while New Hampshire has half the voter population as Independents who can vote in either.

Overall they account for nearly half of all the delegates. I'd hardly consider it a non-issue. Especially considering that Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, and South Carolina are four of the first six states and Paul polls real well in Nevada, a closed caucus. They're also half the states on February 5th.
