Hi all, I'm an Australian that really loves Ron Paul's philosophy. I just wanted to know if there was an Australian political thinker that shared Ron Paul's philosophy as I'm very interested in applying Ron Paul's economic and liberty philosophies in Australian politics.

Thank you!

Edit: I really love Ron Paul's philosophy and I've been trying to apply it to Australian politics, but I thought there be might be someone who has already done this task.

David Leyonhjelm, maybe? http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?429014-David-Leyonhjelm-The-Ron-Paul-of-Australia

I don't know anything about the man, but the article in the other thread might be of interest to you.

If you want to meet people/politicians who share Ron Paul's philosophy in Australia then head over to Brisbane on Nov. 30

Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell (director of the US Mises Institute) are best buddies.

Alright, thanks!

Is there an Australian group I could join? I love everything I've learned Ron Paul speak on and how it applies to the USA, but I want to hear how it applies to the Australian political system.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure of any specific libertarian groups in Australia, but I'm sure there are like-minded people there just waiting for someone to come up with the idea. Maybe you should hit up some libertarian discussion groups on Reddit and ask if there are any fellow Australians there who'd like to set up a local meetup?
