There was only one or two that didn't vote so pretty much every other Senator voted for.

half the people on that list wanted to surrender earlier. but they get to vote against it and tell their constituents how hard they fought.

U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.,

A proposal (http://wfpl.org/post/senate-leaders-announce-budget-deal) to end the government shutdown and avoid default orchestrated by Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Democratic Leader Harry Reid includes a nearly $3 billion earmark for a Kentucky project.
Language in a draft of the McConnell-Reid deal (http://static.squarespace.com/static/518e7de6e4b0534aaae6ee37/t/525effdfe4b0a1c2db02de6a/1381957599342/crtext.pdf) (see page 13, section 123) provided to WFPL News shows a provision that increases funding for the massive Olmsted Dam Lock in Paducah, Ky. (http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/Missions/CivilWorks/Navigation/LocksandDams/OlmstedLocksandDam.aspx), from $775 million to nearly $2.9 billion.

The dam is considered an important project for the state and region in regards to water traffic along the Ohio River.
AsThe Courier-Journal's James Bruggers reported in 2011, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said they needed about $2.1 billion for the locks due to "stop and go funding."
Asked about the additional funding in the proposal, McConnell spokesman Robert Steurer directed all questions to lawmakers who worked on the bill directly.
"Senators (Diane) Feinstein and (Lamar) Alexander, the chair and ranking member of the energy and water subcommittee, worked on the issue and can help you," he says.
Since 2009, McConnell has been an outspoken supporter of the project, and has been working on getting its funding for some time.

Watch:
Still, conservative critics of the proposal argue it is nothing more than a "kickback" for McConnell (http://www.senateconservatives.com/site/post/2312/mcconnell-deal-includes-kentucky-kickback) in an age where Tea Parties have eschewed earmarks.
The Olmsted Dam sees nearly 90 billion tons of materials (http://www.courier-journal.com/article/2011310220080) such as coal, petroleum and other goods move through that stretch of the Ohio River annually.

UPDATE 7:30 p.m.:
A statement from Sen. Alexander's office to BuzzFeed (http://www.buzzfeed.com/johnstanton/shutdown-deal-includes-nearly-3-billion-for-kentucky-dam-pro) says the language was added to prevent funding from being canceled.
"According to the Army Corps of Engineers, 160 million taxpayer dollars will be wasted because of canceled contracts if this language is not included. Sen. [Diane] Feinstein and I, as chairman and ranking member of the Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee, requested this provision. It has already been approved this year by the House and Senate."

UPDATE 9:35 p.m.:
The Senate passed the McConnell-Reid deal by a 81-18 vote (http://wfpl.org/post/senate-leaders-announce-budget-deal) and it now heads to the House.
Among those who voted against the bill were Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, who derided the legislation for overlooking the nation's debt.
"Tonight, a deal was struck to re-open the government and avoid the debt ceiling deadline. That is a good thing," Paul said in a statement. "However, our country faces a problem bigger than any deadline: a $17 trillion debt. I am disappointed that Democrats would not compromise to avoid the looming debt debacle."
Paul's office has not responded to our request for commenting regarding the provision for the Olmsted project.
In a follow-up e-mail, McConnell's office told the radio station the GOP leader did not request Alexander put wording to raise the authorization for funding in the bill despite McConnell's support for earmark funding in the past.

There would likely be none. We have to make more gains though in 2014 and elect some liberty candidates!

But you are right with that second sentence. Now is not the time to start going backwards.

This list is 100% bull crap and a FLATOUT LIE! The vote did not happen, and this is sheer propaganda being spread by the White House to make people think the vote did happen.

How do we know this list is bull crap and a lie? Very simple. Mitch McConnell would NEVER have voted for this. EVER! I mean, Rand endorsed the guy, and is playing the game and winning friends...so there's clearly no way this is legit as someone that Rand endorsed over another liberty candidate would NEVER vote for this garbage bill.

Please fact check before posting rumors and lies.

Im sure it's a shot at Rand. I too wish Rand wasn't so friendly with Mitch but if Rand is going to make a serious run at the WH he's gotta play the game to some extent. Sucks but it's the reality of politics.

Fact is, for the most part, from a narrative point of view, it's going to make one party look united and celebratory in that they got what they wanted, and the other one as splintered, divided and getting nothing out of this. You can already see it happening on Politico. Just wait until the morning. Fact is, during these past few days, the sky did not fall. People were out of work, yes, which is unfortunate, but the nation did not suddenly get destroyed overnight. Literally speaking.

Meds? I can't even get them prescribed for free yet, because that trash Obamacare site won't let me register! How can I take my meds, if I can't get my meds? AND if there is no spoon, am I supposed to take my liquid meds with a fork!? This is all outrageous.

First, a false report claiming Mitch McConnell voted for this trash. Which, WE ALL KNOW IS A LIE.
Second, there is no spoon!

Maybe its one of those.. well this is gonna pass, might as well get something for my state to look good.

I kinda understand, but its kinda silly and stupid asking for more than 2 billion dollars to not let 166million dollars go to waste because of incompletion. Haha. Spend 3 billion to save 160million.

I supported him also. And defended him here so I understand. We can't forget though that "better than the previous person" is a step in the right direction. Yeah, you purists can roast me on this one, but when I was a teenager occasionally I would see a name in the NO column next to Ron Paul. It was always Jeff Flake. I get that he is a politician above all, but I am still gonna wait it out.

That Jeff Flake no longer exists, and hasn't existed for quite some time.

That's what I think. His father refused to play the game and no one took him seriously. Well most people didn't.

Yup, we may disagree on how to get this done, but bottom line, we definitely need more liberty candidates elected, Failing that, we need a re-energized Tea Party movement, that is outraged enough over the endless debt and spending to primary the guilty culprits. The more TP or liberty folks in Congress, the bigger and badder the confrontation each time we get to the can-kicking moment. Eventually, we should grow big enough a presence to kick their can.

The problem is still education and just flat out getting the word out. Each time there is a push back, more people will see the lies (spoon) for what they are. There are a lot of disappointed people, that a better "stand" wasn't taken, but more people out there are becoming aware.
