The compromise bill will fund the federal government through Jan. 15 and extend the borrowing power, known as the debt ceiling, through Feb. 7. It also calls for an agreement by mid-December on a long-term budget plan.

Is there a new cap or can they shove through several trillion more in spending in the next couple of months?

Did we win ANYTHING?

Did you expect to? You should really know better by now that the Feds are locked in towards the iceberg. There's no steering away.

Nope. Republicans are still fundamentally different than liberty minded people.

Yes. You know what they won?

Obama had announced that the first year of Obamacare would be on the honor system. The IRS would just take your word for the fact that you had insurance. The only thing they got out of this deal was demanding that the IRS require proof of insurance.

They only thing they got - screwed us.

Ah, conservatism. Putting up faux opposition to government expansion, then defending said expansion and putting forward reforms to 'make it work better'.
