Ron Paul has endorsed Ken Cucinnelli and Owen Hill within the last few days. I wouldn't be surprised if he endorsed Greg, who he met at LPAC.

Raleigh, NC – Today, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) announced his endorsement of Dr. Greg Brannon for U.S. Senate in North Carolina.

Yes, its a game changer! Brings Brannon heaps of legitimacy and an enormous fund raising base.

He is a fantastic candidate. Nearly perfect on the issues and as intelligent, well spoken, and politically savvy as Rand himself. Problem was unlike Rand, he didn't have a famous Dad to provide him a fund raising base or instant name recognition. And the NC Media instituted a near total blackout. Only people the NC press ever mentioned or talked about were the main Establishment GOP Candidates. They acted like Brannon didn't exist, and as a result his polling and fund raising were lagging. Well, they can't do that anymore. This is a HUGE deal. We just went from praying for a miracle to strong contender if not odds on favorite in the blink of an eye. So glad to see Rand willing to piss off the entire establishment NC GOP and throw his weight around.
