EBT Card Users Threaten Rodney King-Style Riots (http://www.infowars.com/ebt-card-users-threaten-rodney-king-style-riots/)

EBT card users are threatening to stage Rodney King-style riots in Los Angeles if the electronic food stamp system crashes again, following Saturday’s failure which prompted looting at several Walmart stores.

An EBT card user interviewed in the video above (2 minutes 30) comments, “They better resolve something because if it stays like this there’s gonna be an uproar in the city of L.A.” When the man is asked to clarify, he respond, “A Rodney King baby!”

The man is referring to the 1992 L.A. riots, spurred by the Rodney King beating, which resulted in 53 deaths, 2,000 injuries and over $1 billion dollars in property damages.

Several Walmart stores suffered looting and “mini-riots” following Saturday’s EBT card shutoff, which was caused after a routine check by vendor Xerox Corp. resulted in a system failure.

Managers were forced to close a Walmart in Philadelphia, Mississippi when people reacted to the failure by staging a “mini-riot.”

Things can and will get much, much worse. The 50-year period was just the weakening/infiltrating part of the Communist overthrow of America.

This is the warm up. Would not surprise me to learn this was a quick test to see the reaction. The main reason the govy ordered a billion rounds of ammo. Think they are going to worry about self sufficient people outside the cities? They are going to have their hands full with the zombies rioting when those plastic cards wont get them free stuff anymore.

Its scary to know something as simple as a technical glitch can destroy a lot of society in a few days. If a person finds themselves in the cities, best to have someplace to bug out to and a Ron Paul hat or something to identify with friendlies outside the hot zones.

This.

Also, if anyone else had said it, the libs would be screaming that assuming all Americans of African descent are on food stamps is racist.

Sort of reminds me of this:

(2) In September, a federal jury in New York City upheld an employment agency worker's claim that she (an African-American) was racially harassed by her boss. The supervisor, Rob Carmona, had insisted that he could not be liable for race-based harassment because, he, too, is African-American and thus entitled to use the "n-word." Ferfal talked about that.

http://ferfal.blogspot.com/2008/10/thoughts-on-urban-survival-2005.html

URBAN OR COUNTRY?

Someone once asked me how did those that live in the country fare. If they were better off than city dwellers. As always there are no simple answers. Wish I could say country good, city bad, but I can’t, because if I have to be completely honest, and I intend to be so, there are some issues that have to be analyzed, especially security. Of course that those that live in the country and have some land and animals were better prepared food-wise. No need to have several acres full of crops. A few fruit trees, some animals, such as chickens, cows and rabbits, and a small orchard was enough to be light years ahead of those in the cities. Chickens, eggs and rabbits would provide the proteins, a cow or two for milk and cheese, some vegetables and fruit plants covered the vegetable diet, and some eggs or a rabbit could be traded for flower to make bread and pasta or sugar and salt.
[...]
After all these years I learned that even though the person that lives out in the country is safer when it comes to small time robberies, that same person is more exposed to extremely violent home robberies. Criminals know that they are isolated and their feeling of invulnerability is boosted. When they assault a country home or farm, they will usually stay there for hours or days torturing the owners. I heard it all: women and children getting raped, people tied to the beds and tortured with electricity, beatings, burned with acetylene torches...

Carlybee

Some here seem to think the people who will be rioting dont have vehicles. Here they have better cars than I have and they have weapons. To think they wont make it out of the city is naive. I'm more worried about the cops than the looters...that and fire.

Absolutely. That Ferfal post (http://ferfal.blogspot.com/2008/10/thoughts-on-urban-survival-2005.html) has good advice and info, and is definitely worth a read.

So, where to go? The concrete jungle is dangerous and so is living away from it all, on your own. The solution is to stay away from the cities but in groups, either by living in a small town-community or sub division, or if you have friends or family that think as you do, form your own small community. Some may think that having neighbors within “shouting” distance means loosing your privacy and freedom, but it’s a price that you have to pay if you want to have someone to help you if you ever need it.

We're looking at ten+ acre lots, so we won't be shouting distance. Food and water security is very important to us, so rural it is.

I'm reading it now. Thanks for posting it.

Thing is, water's not necessarily secure out here. We live in an area where the well water smells like sulfur--I'm not drinking that unless absolutely necessary. And then there's the electricity that powers the well. In some ways I'm actually in worse shape than being on city water unless I get solar panels which are expensive, take technical ability to hook up and require sunlight, which there isn't a lot of around here. There are other options, but all of them are expensive.

Food's easy out here relative to water.

I dont think anyone is saying that but being in the country doesnt guarantee you safety either. Some of the rural areas around here are populated by skinhead meth heads. What then?

NOTHING guarantees one's safety - a fact that the timid meaner fails to comprehend and thus serving as a major contributing factor in his willingness to waive his rights in exchange for illusions.

As for what then, that is what the M60 is for. Yes, M60.

Yes, M60.

I've worn a ring made from an M-60 shell since '74...

Worry about yourself. I'll take care of myself when the time comes.

They had snipers on the Whitehouse for those hell raising WW2 vets last week. Circa 2013.

I'm pretty sure there are always snipers on the roof of the White House. There were when I went in 2005, and President Bush wasn't even home.

Most roiting city dwellers are unlikely to get further than a tank of gas. I am thinking >250 miles from a major cities is a good rule of thumb.

Most rioting city dwellers won't bother leaving their own neighborhood before starting fires.

True, but the sheer number of them will guarantee spillover into everywhere accessible from the city.

If you need an m60 you're dealing with the boys in black. You're not going to win that one. They have bigger stronger and better weapons. A long range riffle and some ars will get the job done for 98% of the people.

When people are abused by Tyranny, they wont riot, most will cower in fear.

When people are not given theri Freebies that were acquired by Theft, then they WILL Riot because many insist that the Nanny State take care of them at the expense of others.

Plenty of bolt guns, M16s, ARs, SBR/subguns, express rifles including doubles, riot guns, pistols galore, cans. Well fixed. :)

I can't imagine anything worse than a disorganized, frantic, government breakdown. There are far better ways to go about eliminating the welfare/warfare state.

True, but those things are never going to be implemented. Our psychotic politicians are going to ride this train all the way to hell.

That's really sensationalist. One guy making a stupid comment in a video = OH SHIT, RIOTS ARE COMING! LOCK YOURSELVES DOWN, GET OUT OF THE CITIES, STOCK UP ON FOOD, GET YOUR GUNS LOADED!

Just like the massive race riots which were apparently coming after the verdict in the Zimmerman trial.

Not surprising that this is coming from infowars.

That's a fair dose of skepticism. But I do think you should consider the fact that you folks in NYC have about 2-3 days worth of food on the grocery store shelves. If some disaster happens those reserves would not even be distributed equally. There are several potential things that could happen to stop those shelves from being restocked. Even out here in the sticks we are dependent on foreign products but still stand a better chance at producing our needs that we consume. I can't make the claim that it will happen in my life but it definitely will happen eventually. Every empire falls eventually.

You go to war with the societal breakdown you've got, not the one you want.
