Why is this an either or proposition? We need both Brannon and Amash in Congress. In a perfect world we'd have hundreds of Ron Paul type candidates speaking bluntly on foreign policy. It's not a perfect world, as we both know. Now the only way to get somewhere near that perfect world is to get more of these transitional candidates who are decent liberty candidates that also know how to play the political game. They will plow the field so its easier for plain speaking liberty candidates to run in the future. And if our current liberty candidates do a really great job at educating the public over time maybe we can dispense with "playing the game" and parsing our words all together. That's my reasoning and the future I'm working toward.

Brannon is starting to get attention outside our little niche now. It definitely took some time for things to begin to snowball, but that time finally seems to be upon us. He almost doubled his support within the last month so he's trending to be a very strong contender. This primary will eventually come down to Brannon vs. the Establishment guy and the debates next spring/summer will be game changers.

Tillis didn't even show at that "meet the candidates" debate last week. The good news is that Brannon was terrific and the preacher candidate wasn't as good as I expected him to be.
