This shows exactly in what regard this government holds the troops. They are merely sacrificial entities to the government. The soldiers enlist, believing they are doing the right thing to protect the country and end up paying the ultimate sacrifice, but are disrespected by the government and now are being flown back on rented cargo planes and their caskets are lifted off by forklifts like they are nothing more than damaged meat. This is while their families are denied burial benefits. This is despicable and can be summed up in comparison to Henry Kissinger’s despicable comment.
