Because the government has something to hide. More and more I lean to the belief that her vehicle was trapped by barriers, that her vehicle was incapacitated on the median strip, that she posed no threat at the time of the fatal shooting and that at least one police officer is guilty of murder.

Me too. She didn't "ram" anything. There was hardly any damage to the front of Miriam's car, whereas the cop car that hit a barricade is totaled.
And they shot her as she was driving AWAY from the White House/President.

So the bill can be prepared.

I'm only half jesting...it will not be long before asset forfeiture is used routinely against the families of people who commit "crimes".

That happens in Israel already where Obama handlers often send US policing teams for "training". She was a 'suspected terrorist' and to affirm that US Congress gave standing ovation to police after they killed the "suspect".
SWC Obama's puppet masters may have such 'enhanced protection' laws in draft already. Progress is being made, one 'unthinkable' step at a time.

The logic here is amazing.

Let's assume for a moment she was mentally ill and did every little thing the cops think she did, and was a horrid mother. Just... go there for a second, even with no evidence.

Mental illness isn't a case of the cooties. She didn't pass it on to family members. The family should have custody of this poor little girl, and there is not a single logical reason for it not to happen. Illogical reasons? That's another matter.

Without either I'm certain that cop has caused more damage to citizens when he "places them on the ground"....(Cop term for body slam)

My understanding is that the child was removed from the car, then the mother was shot. The child is being kept custody likely to 'pacify' her, and soften the trauma she will express to her family about the matter once/if returned to them. Imagine if she was returned to them right away---the likelihood of a lawsuit against the cops goes up by miles, based on what she would have told them. The child is not a ward of the state, it's just that the government likes to treat all of us that way.

Her daughter was reported to be 19 months old. Depending on her personality she could be quite verbal and by delaying her return they will lessen what she will recall because their recall is short term in relation to the older they get. If they are not getting immediate custody then it is a stall tactic for a purpose of protecting the actions of the state. They will reason they are providing specialized care but what they are likely doing is stalling and steering. (I have 8 children of my own and my youngest is a little over 2 years old so I have some experience for my position fwiw.)

A slew of current articles on this has the baby at 18-19 months old and incline it was ppd that occurred around August. A 13-14 month old would still be able to be somewhat verbal (mine are verbal children as several of mine started talking at 7 months). Less so than an 18-19 month old but still going to show signs of trauma and articulate how much they want Mom. The longer you keep them separate through a transition period then the less they will be able to articulate this trauma. Yes, even a 13-14 month old can talk if somewhat listens to what they have to say.

WASHINGTON - In a tweet that has gone viral, Valarie Carey is questioning how federal law enforcement responded when her sister drove into a White House checkpoint and led officers on a chase in 2013 compared to another White House security incident involving another woman last week.
In 2013, U.S. Secret Service and Capitol Police shot at Miriam Carey's car more than 20 times, hitting her five times and killing her. She was unarmed and had a baby in her car. Carey's daughter was not hurt.

Police respond to incident at Mar-a-lago

MAR-A-LAGO, Fla. (WSVN/AP) — Police have two females in custody after a security breach at the Mar-a-lago estate ended in a police-involved shooting.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol troopers were following a black SUV when it fled through two security check points on the property, Friday, at around 11:40 a.m.
Officers fired shots at the vehicle as it headed towards the main entrance of the estate.
The vehicle continued to flee from FHP troopers and a PBSO helicopter before it was later located on the property.
30-year-old Hannah Roemhild and another woman have been taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
Based on a preliminary investigation, investigators believe that Roemhild approached the checkpoint at a high rate of speed and did not appear to brake in any way, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition in anonymity in order to discuss the investigation.

Today's incident:

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/article239840653.html

Opera singer danced on an SUV, then crashed through Mar-a-Lago barricades. Cops opened fire

A Connecticut woman chastised for dancing on her car at a Palm Beach hotel late Friday morning ended up driving away and crashing her vehicle through two security barricades outside Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s private club and home, drawing gunfire from law enforcement officers, before leading a police helicopter on a chase that ended in her arrest.

Hannah Roemhild, 30, a trained opera singer, is now in the custody of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

“This is not a terrorist thing,” Palm Beach Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said at a Friday afternoon news conference. “This is somebody that obviously was impaired somehow.”

Roemhild could face charges for assault on both federal and county law enforcement officers, Bradshaw said. No one was injured, although the situation might have easily ended differently, officials indicated.

The incident began at 11:38 a.m. when Roemhild was spotted dancing on her black SUV at the Breakers resort and hotel, Bradshaw said. Security called an off-duty Florida Highway Patrol trooper, but Roemhild got in her vehicle. The officer tapped on her window. When it appeared Roemhild was preparing to reverse away, the officer broke the window. He then pursued Roemhild, who was said to be driving south erratically and at high speeds, but lost her in traffic.

Roemhild then approached Mar-a-Lago, about three miles south of the Breakers, driving the SUV through a staffed security barricade on a public road outside the club. Then she crashed through a second staffed checkpoint.

“The deputies and Secret Service agents that were there got out of the way just in time,” Bradshaw said.

As she continued toward the club’s main entrance, Secret Service agents and PBSO deputies opened fire, said Brian Swain, the Secret Service’s special agent in charge for Miami. Her vehicle was hit several times.

“A vehicle is a deadly weapon,” Bradshaw said, adding that it could have been loaded with a car bomb or been used to strike civilians.

Somehow, Roemhild managed to get away, driving her vehicle over the Southern Boulevard bridge and into West Palm Beach. Authorities lost her, although PBSO scrambled a helicopter into the air. During that time, Roemhild picked up another woman, believed to be a relative, Bradshaw said, before she was located and arrested.

PBSO originally said two people were in custody, but Bradshaw said the second woman is not being held. Roemhild was being transferred to the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center. She had not yet been interviewed as of midafternoon Friday.

According to what appears to be her Facebook, Roemhild is an opera singer who lives in Middletown, Connecticut.

The soprano, who said in her profile that she studied opera at Western Connecticut State University, posted on her Instagram that she arrived in Palm Beach on Jan. 28. She also works as a nanny, according to her LinkedIn. It does not appear that she has a law enforcement record.

Miriam Carey:

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2015/03/miriam-carey-whitehouse-rammer-police-death/

At 2:13 p.m. on October 3, 2013—10 months before Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri, nine months before Eric Garner was choked in Staten Island—a 34-year-old African American woman drove into a checkpoint in Washington, DC. Her car, a Nissan Infiniti, had Connecticut license plates; her one-year-old daughter sat in the back. Maybe the driver knew this checkpoint leads to the White House. Or maybe not. She did soon appear to realize, however, that she was somewhere that she did not belong: Secret Service officers began hollering at her—”Whoa! Whoa!”—and she turned her car around. When she attempted to drive out of the checkpoint area, an off-duty Secret Service officer placed a section of metal fencing in front of her, even as he held on to what appeared to be a cooler and a plastic bag. She pressed on the gas, knocking the officer and barricade to the ground, and zoomed down Pennsylvania Avenue.

There was less traffic than usual this afternoon; the federal government had shut down after Congress had failed to approve a budget on time. Despite the relative quiet, a sense of unease pervaded the capital: 17 days earlier, a former Navy reservist had killed 12 people at the Washington Navy Yard. Maybe the lingering memory of this mass murder helps explain what happened next. Maybe not. Either way, the driver was now “weaving through traffic and ignoring red lights,” according to a later government account, with Secret Service in hot pursuit. Soon she arrived on the west side of the US Capitol, where she drove the wrong way around Garfield Circle “almost hitting another vehicle head-on.”

She stopped next to a curb, and six officers on foot surrounded her Infiniti. Guns drawn, they yanked on the doors, demanding she step out. Instead, she put the car in reverse, slammed into a police cruiser behind her, then lurched forward onto a sidewalk, forcing officers to scatter. Three officers—two from the Secret Service, one from the Capitol Police—fired eight rounds at her. But she kept going, careening down First Street NW, turning right on Constitution Avenue, police cruisers tailing her, lights spinning and sirens screaming.

Soon she encountered a raised barrier. With nowhere else to go, she pulled the steering wheel to the left, rode onto a grassy median, and plowed into a parked car. Then she shifted into reverse, forcing a Capitol police officer to dart out of the way. That officer and a Secret Service officer each fired nine rounds at the Infiniti. Finally the vehicle stopped, its tires atop the median. The driver was taken to a hospital; her baby was somehow unharmed.
