There was a time in America when liberty, a certain amount of self-reliance, and personal responsibility were seen as positive things.

Clearly, that isn't how Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren sees things. In her view, without even bigger government, the sky will fall and the world will come to an end. Certainly, Warren is blind to her and her party and a Democratic President's role in the current shutdown.

As usual, all she can do is try to blame others, calling her Republican colleagues an "anarchy gang." What Warren can't seem to handle is anything that isn't business as usual in Washington. The usually hyperbolic Warren doesn't disappoint with her latest silly tirade.

"When this government re-opens, when our markets are again safe, when our scientists can return to their research, when our small businesses can borrow, when our veterans can be respected for their service, when our flu shots resume, and our Head Start programs get back to teaching our kids, we will have rejected your views once again."

The scariest thing about her is that she isn't universally ridiculed. The leftists, especially the up-and-coming ones, love her. And worse still, I could see her running for president and winning. Imagine choosing between Elizabeth Warren and Tom Cotton. That's the day I book a one-way flight to Chile.

I fear her more than anyone else on the left. There is some sort of mindless love that people have for her than can not be combated with logic and reason.
If she becomes president, there will be no hope left. I would never support her or Hillary, but I'd rather Hillary be president than Elizabeth.
